Turkish President Erdoğan sent a message to the April 24 mass that was held in Feriköy Surp Vartanants Church this morning. In the message, Erdoğan also mentioned patriarchal election.

Erdoğan's lawyer Hüseyin Aydın announced that the lawsuits against HDP won't be withdrawn.

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım made a statement to the press about the Armenian Genocide resolution of Bundestag: “This voting is nonsense. This is a common incident that happened in every country and it happened in 1915 in Turkey, under the conditions of World War I.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a letter of condolence to April 24 mass that was held in Kumkapı Surp Asdvadzadzin Church.

Prof. Dr. Baskın Oran filed a claim for compensation against President Erdoğan, because of his statements about the academics who signed the declaration titled as “We won't be accomplices to this crime”. Oran is one of the signees.

Cumhuriyet newspaper staff and writers have published a declaration in reaction to President Tayyip Erdoğan’s words, “This newspaper too is now part of the spying scheme. The person who wrote this report will pay dearly for it, he won’t get away with it so easily,” targeting their Editor-in-Chief Can Dündar after their newspaper published a report on a delivery of Syria-bound arms in MİT [National Intelligence Service] trucks.
