Cross examination of police officer Ercan Demir from Trabzon Intelligence Branch started yesterday afternoon and continues today. Demir said, "Unfortunately, the murder wasn't prevented despite all the information we have."

Police officer Ercan Demir from Trabzon Intelligence Branch, who has been tried as part of Dink case, pointed the finger at Trabzon Gendarmerie personnel in his defence. The cross examination of Demir will start.

The third hearing of the trial of public officials ended. Evaluating the demands of release, the court decided to release Ercan Demir. Ali Fuat Yılmazer and Ramazan Akyürek’s detention continues. The next hearing will be held on August 8, 9, 10 and 12.
