NEWS HDP appeals to ECHR for arrested co-chairs

HDP appealed to European Court of Human Rights for its arrested co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ. The ground of the application is the violation of right to free election and the fact that Turkish Constitutional Court doesn't carry out any examination.
NEWS HDP decides to rejoin parliamentary work

HDP had decided to withdraw from parliamentary committees after the co-chairs and 7 MPs of the party were arrested on November 6. HDP Spokesperson Ayhan Bilgen announced that they have changed their mind and they will take part in the committees once again.
NEWS HDP Co-Chair Yüksekdağ: we apologize to Armenian people

HDP Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ, during the group meeting of HDP, apologized for the Armenian Genocide. Yüksekdağ said, “On 101st anniversary of the genocide, we apologize to Armenian people. We apologize to Aunt Elizabeth, to Uncle Krikor. We apologize to our friend, comrade Garo and to our sister Roza.”
NEWS Suspicion of attempted assassination against Demirtaş

A mark in the armed car that is assigned to HDP’s co-chair Demirtaş brought about questions concerning an attempted assassination. The police said that it might be a bullet mark, whereas the governorship stated that it is not caused by a firearm.
