New indictment in Dink case

As part of Dink case, an indictment against 51 suspects is issued. The prosecution sent the indictment to 14th High Penal Court, requesting it to be joined with the main case.

The most extensive investigation concerning Fethullah Gülen movement's connection to Dink murder is completed. 

Investigating prosecutor completed 122-page indictment, involving 51 suspects including Fethullah Gülen, Zekeriya Öz and Zaman newspaper's editor-in-chief Ekrem Dumanlı. 28 suspects in the indictment are already arrested.

According Anadolu News Agency, Fetullah Gülen, former prosecutor Zekeriya Öz, editor-in-chief of the closed newspaper Zaman Ekrem Dumanlı, journalists Adem Yavuz Arslan, Ercan Gün, Faruk Mercan, Muammer Ay, lawyer Halil İbrahim Koca, dismissed brigadier general Hamza Celepoğlu, former Trabzon gendarmeri commander Ali Öz, chief of Trabzon gendarmeri intelligence Metin Yıldız, Istanbul gendarmerie official captain Muharrem Demirkale, gendarmerie personnel fron Istanbul and TrabzonYavuz Karakaya, Ecevit Emir, Ali Barış Sevindik, Eyüp Temel, Metehan Kadir Yıldırım, Veysel Şahin, Önder Araz, Osman Kırçalı, Ergün Yorulmaz, Atilla Güçlüoğlu, Birol Ustaoğlu, Metin Balta, Murat Bayrak, Yüksel Avan, Volkan Şahin, Ünsal Gürel, Şeref Ateş, Okan Şimşek, Hüseyin Yılmaz, Gazi Günay, Cevat Eser, Adnan Acar, Rahmi Özer, Mustafa Küçük, Musa Yıldırım, Mikdat Özbek, Emre Cingöz, Yusuf Bozca, Abdullah Dinç, Bekir Yokuş, Hacı Şefik Şimşek, Niyazi Malkoç, Resül Kütükoğlu, Ahmet Faruk Aydoğdu are included in the indictment as suspects. 

Sent to Istanbul 14th High Penal Court

Approved by Chief Prosecutor's Office, the indictment was sent to 14th High Penal Court and requested to be joined with the main case. The court expected to respond to this request within 15 days. If the court decides to join it, the suspects will be tried.
