Trump meets religious leaders in Jerusalem

As part of his first overseas trip, US President Donald Trump went to Israel after Saudi Arabia. He visited Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, where he met religious leaders.

As part of his first overseas trip, US President Donald Trump went to Israel after Saudi Arabia. He visited Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, where he met religious leaders. 

On Monday, Trump was welcomed at Ben Gurion Airport by religious leaders including Patriarch of Jerusalem Archbishop Nurhan Manougian. Later, the president and first lady Melania Trump visited Holy Sepulchre Church. Greek Orthodox Patriarch Archbishop Theophilos III, Franciscan Father Francesco Patton, custos of the Holy Land and Armenian Patriarch Nurhan Manougian accompanied them. 

Trump also visited the Western Wall. He is the first US president who paid this visit.
