Catholic Spiritual Leader Pope Francis will visit Armenia on June 24-26. The logo and slogan of this visit is determined.
According to Presidential Press Office of Armenia, the slogan of Pope's visit to Armenia is "Visit to the first Christian Nation." The logo of the visit is also approved. The images of Khor Virap Monastery and Biblical Mount Ararat are on the logo. The colors of this logo are purple and yellow, which are the official colors of the Armenian Apostolic and the Roman Catholic Churches respectively. The logo includes the coats of arms of the two churches.
It is also announced that the Pope will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan. It is expected that the Pope will visit the historical monastery in Gyumri and get together with the President Sargsyan and the leaders of Armenian Church.
