The 2026–2027 academic year began on Monday, September 14. Students returned to class after a three-month summer break. As we do every year, we compiled data from 16 Armenian schools on new enrollments and total student numbers. A total of 2,589 students will attend Armenian schools during the 2026–2027 academic year. This year, 388 new students enrolled in the 16 Armenian schools. Of the total, 1,992 students will attend preschool, primary, and middle schools, while 597 will attend high schools. Bomonti Mıhitaryan School will suspend education this year as well due to earthquake-strengthening work.
