US VICE PRESIDENT VANCE VISITS TSITSERNAKABERD
"We honor the resilience of the Armenian people"
US Vice President J.D. Vance visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial this morning following the official meetings he held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, where he arrived yesterday. Visiting the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex in Yerevan on the morning of February 10 with his wife Usha Vance, Vance laid flowers at the memorial.
During the visit, J.D. Vance signed the guest book of the Armenian Genocide Museum, writing the following note:
"In the sacred memory of the lives lost, we honor the resilience and unwavering spirit of the Armenian people with respect. I hope that America and Armenia strive together for a future woven with peace and mutual understanding."
The Vance couple's visit continued with the laying of flowers at the memorial and a moment of silence.
