Visits Laden with Memories
The second half of last week was marked by pilgrimage visits. The first of these was a commemoration ceremony for the former monastery school in Armash, organized under the leadership of the Surp Haç Tbrevank Alumni Association. On the morning of Thursday, June 11, four buses departing from various districts of Istanbul gathered at a gas station after a journey of approximately one and a half hours, formed a convoy, and headed toward the town now officially known as Akmeşe, formerly Armash. Another group, meanwhile, visited Amasya, Merzifon, and Gümüşhacıköy.
