Court rejects Kavala’s request for retrial
Istanbul’s 13th High Criminal Court failed to implement the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) Grand Chamber’s ruling that the rights of Osman Kavala, convicted in connection with the Gezi Park protests, had been violated, and rejected his request for a retrial.
