Elazığ Armenian Cemetery registered as a protected cultural heritage site
The Armenian Cemetery in Elazığ’s Şahinkaya neighborhood has been officially registered as an “Immovable Cultural Heritage Asset Requiring Protection” by the Diyarbakır Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. The Surp Nışan Chapel located within the cemetery has also been placed under protection as part of the decision.
