Turkey’s Council of Higher Education (YÖK) banned all academics, including rectors, from going abroad and recalled the ones who are currently abroad. Also, 1577 university deans have been asked to resign.

The objection against the urgent expropriation in Sur filed by Diyarbakir Bar Association Deputy Chair Ahmet Özmen is taken in the scope of urgent trial procedure by Chamber 6 of the Council of State.
