348 votes in favor of the plan to lift the parliamentary immunity
AKP-initiated constitutional amendment for changing the Article 83 on the immunity of MPs is supported by 348 lawmakers in the 550-seat Turkish parliament. Second round of voting will be held on Friday.
Debates after the referendum in Armenia
A referendum was held in Armenia on Sunday and people said ‘yes’ to constitutional amendments for transition to parliamentary system, but the debates still continue. Thinking that this amendment serves for Sargsyan’s maintaining his power, the opposition claims that there was an electoral fraud.
