As part of Dink case, the 9th hearing of the trial of public officials is being held today. Before the hearing started, Friends of Hrant were once again in front of the court house.

In Dink Case, Directorate of Intelligence personnel continues to present defence. Yesterday, Tamer Bülent Demirel and Ali Poyraz presented their defences. Today’s hearing is ended with the defence and cross examination of Osman Gülbel.

In Dink murder case, Directorate of Intelligence personnel have started to present their defences. Tamer Bülent Demirel, vice chief of a section of Directorate of Intelligence, said that he doesn't remember whether he sent the intelligence report concerning the murder to his superiors.

On the 4th day of the hearings of Dink case, Celalettin Cerrah, who was the chief of Istanbul Security Directorate at the time of murder, is presenting his defence.

Sabri Uzun, who was the chief of Security General Directorate Intelligence Branch before the murder, presented his defence in trial of the public officials who are suspects of Dink murder. Uzun said that the intelligence reports stating that Dink will be murdered hadn't been presented to him and he added that Dink murder is a plot against nationalists.

Ramazan Akyürek, who was former chief of Security General Directorate Intelligence Branch, spoke in the hearing yesterday. He said that Celalettin Cerrah, former chief of Istanbul Security Directorate, called him after Dink was murdered and asked him to destroy a document. Cerrah denied this allegation.

As part of Dink case, Ahmet İlhan Güler, who was the chief of Istanbul Security Directorate Intelligence Branch at the time of murder, is answering the questions in the court. He claimed that he wasn't informed of the threats against Hrant Dink. He defined the protests targeting Dink as “democratic protests”.

Ahmet İlhan Güler, who was the chief of Istanbul Security Directorate Intelligence Branch at the time of murder, presented his defence. He claimed that he didn't have the authority to order protection and accused the personnel of Trabzon Security Directorate. He said, “I am defending the state.”

In Dink Case, Faruk Sarı, who was working as the chief of Trabzon General Directorate of Security Intelligence Branch at the time of murder, presented his defence and stated that he hadn’t received any information about the plans for murder.

Yesterday, Engin Dinç, who is the current chief of the General Directorate of Security Intelligence Department and was the chief of Trabzon Security Directorate Intelligence Department at time of murder, came to the court for the first time. The hearing continues today.
