Truck bomb blast in Qamishli: at least 50 killed

According to Reuters, ISIS claimed the attack. Because of the impact of the blast, two people are in Mardin, Nusaybin are also injured. Syrian state news agency SANA reported that 50 people were killed and 144 people are injured.

A truck bomb blast took place in Qamishli city of Hasaka province near PYD’s headquarters. Syrian state news agency SANA reported that 50 people were killed and 144 people are injured. It is reported that the truck was planned to be taken to Ministry of Defence, but when the attackers failed to do it, they exploded the truck where they are. Speaking to Ronahi TV, Interior Minister Kenan Bereket confirmed the reports.

The explosion was so powerful that the windows of some shops in Nusaybin are shattered and two people were slightly injured. After the blast, police and military vehicles started to patrol along the border.
