As part of the Dink case, the trials of the public officials continue. Mehmet Ayhan, an officer from Trabzon Security Directorate Intelligence Branch, is presenting his defence. Former civil inspectors Şükrü Yıldız and Mehmet Ali Özkılınç's demand of suspension of their trial is refused.

Heavily damaged church property belongs to General Directorate of Foundations. The restoration work, which will be carried out by the Directorate, is planned to be completed in 2018.

Cross examination of police officer Ercan Demir from Trabzon Intelligence Branch started yesterday afternoon and continues today. Demir said, "Unfortunately, the murder wasn't prevented despite all the information we have."

The hearings ended with the defense of the former Trabzon Provincial Police Chief Reşat Altay, who was in office at the time of murder. Refusing the demands of release, the court postponed the case to June 20.

Having started to present his defense, former Trabzon Provincial Police Chief Reşat Altay claimed that he hadn't been informed about Dink murder before or after the murder.

The first day of trials of Dink case ended with the reading of the indictment, which will be continued to be read today. It is also expected that the court will start to hear the suspects today.
