HDP report: curfews, 6 months, 180 killed

According to HDP's report, in the southeastern region of Turkey, 460 civilians (84 children, 79 women) were killed since July. It is also reported that 180 civilians were killed in Cizre, Sur and Silop, which are currently under curfew.

HDP reported the violations during the curfews and operations in Kurdish cities and shared it with the public. According to the report, 56 curfews have been declared in 20 provinces of 7 cities so far. 460 civilians (84 children, 79 women) were killed since July.   

Cizre: 112 people were killed in 6 months

Curfew and operations are still going on in Cizre. There have been 5 curfews in Cizre and the one declared on December 14 still continues. In 56 days, 78 people were killed and since July, 112 people were killed. It is also reported that the curfew declared on December 14 in Silopi is still going on and 28 people were killed since then. Also, since July 2015, 42 people were killed in Silopi.

Sur: 67 days, 26 killed

It is reported that there have been 6 curfews in Sur province of Diyarbakir. The last curfew declared on December 2 is still going on and 26 people were killed since July. According to HDP report, 180 civilians were killed in Sur, Cizre and Silopi since July.

210 people were killed during curfews 

In the report, it is stated that 210 citizens were killed during the curfews: “141 people were killed in Suruç, Zergele and Ankara massacres. 100 people were killed during protests by police or military forces. Because of the state of war, 460 civilians died.”
