The fertility center that was shut down by a decree reopened by another decree

With the recent emergency decree that is published in the Official Journal today, Istanbul Fertility Center, which was shut down on July 25, is reopened.

On July 25, 3 universities and 149 schools, 150 associations, 15 foundations and 4 healthcare centers had been shut down by an emergency decree. 

Istanbul Fertility Center, which was founded and directed by surgeon Aret Kamar, was among the shut-down institutions.

Serving for 11 years, the fertility center was shut down by officials from ministry of health, district governor’s office and treasury. The records of 40,000 patients had been seized and the embryos were transferred to Koç University.

With the recent emergency decree that is published in the Official Journal today, Istanbul Fertility Center is reopened.
