Attack to Christians on the way to church leaves 23 dead

In Egyptian capital Cairo, gunmen attacked Christians driving to the church, killing 23 and wounding 25.

According to Reuters, eyewitnesses stated that unidentified gunmen opened fire to a group of Coptic Christians in Minya province. Provincial governor stated that 23 people were killed and 25 wounded in the attack.  

Coptic Christians make up about 10% of Egypt's population and they have been subjected to a series of deadly attacks in recent months. These attacks were claimed by ISIS.

Most recently, 46 people were killed in double church attacks on April 9.
