CHILD ABUSE

The regulation that would pardon men accused of sexually abusing underage girls is removed from the bill by the majority of the vote in the Justice Commission. The regulation has caused outcry in the society.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım announced that the bill that would give way to impunity when the victim and the perpetrator of child abuse get married.

While child abuse is currently on the agenda of Turkey, another report about child abuse came from Jerusalem. With the child abuse happened in early '90s, Jarankavorats Armenian School in Jerusalem drew attention.
